Our Team

Anne Tarwater is a Speech Language Pathologist and the mastermind behind iShine Pediatric Therapy Clinic.  She earned her Bachelors in Communication from Southwestern University in Georgetown, and went on to earn a Masters in Communication Disorders from Texas Women’s University.  Anne has worked in Boerne ISD for the last 7 years, providing assessments and therapy for students in the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities/Early Childhood Special Education Program, as well as for students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade. Additionally, Anne has many years experience providing in-home therapy for children through the home health industry.  Anne has worked with children with a variety of disabilities and disorders.  She has a deep passion for helping children to find their own voice and unique skills.  Anne is passionate about communication and believes developing strong communication skills, whether it is in the area of fluency, articulation, expressive and receptive language, or social skills, is an important foundation for life skills. 

Anne has 2 children and a small zoo at home, including 3 dogs and 2 cats.
